Free iOS WOD timer
AMRAP timer
An AMRAP timer counts down a fixed window — “As Many Rounds (or Reps) As Possible” — while you cycle through a set of movements and count your rounds. GRIT runs it free: set any time cap, get a 10-second count-in, and a big landscape clock you can read from across the gym.
How GRIT runs an AMRAP
Pick AMRAP, set the window (say 20:00), and hit start. The clock counts down in the work colour, GRIT beeps the last 3 seconds, and you log your rounds + reps when the buzzer goes. Every setting is adjustable — unlike SmartWOD, GRIT never puts the custom timer behind a paywall.
- Open GRIT and choose AMRAP.
- Set your time cap (any length you like).
- Optionally add a 10-second count-in.
- Start — the big clock counts down; work through your rounds.
- At the buzzer, save your score (rounds + reps) to the logbook.
Example workouts
- Cindy — 20-min AMRAP: 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 air squats.
- 12-min AMRAP: 10 burpees, 15 kettlebell swings.
- 7-min AMRAP: max burpees (a classic benchmark).
